ManageNEMT provides two types of shift scheduling for drivers: Single Shifts and Recurring Shifts. These allow for flexible scheduling based on your operational needs.
1. Single Shifts
Single Shifts are used to create one-time shift assignments for drivers.
Ideal for temporary coverage, last-minute additions, or one-off assignments.
You must manually enter each shift individually.
Start and end times are required.
Once created, the shift will only apply to the specific day selected.
Example: Assigning a driver to a shift on Wednesday, July 2nd from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
2. Recurring Shifts
Recurring Shifts allow you to schedule shifts that repeat on a weekly basis.
Useful for consistent scheduling (e.g., weekly routes).
You can select one or multiple days of the week for the shift to repeat.
Start and end times must be provided for each recurrence.
The system will automatically generate future shifts based on the selected pattern.
